Editorial management & web development
Editorial management and technical development for the Maydan academic journal, dedicated to Arab, Semitic, and Islamic studies. On the editorial and scientific side, I manage the Southeast Asia section: commissioning, editing, and reviewing contributions, and coordinating with authors. On the technical side, I built the website from scratch, manage it, and keep it online. I also handle the related IT services: email, newsletter, domain, and server infrastructure.
Combining academic rigour with a functional, accessible digital platform, integrating complex text structures (transliterations, apparatus) with a clean interface. Independently managing the entire technical and editorial stack.
Work that brings together linguistic, organisational, and digital skills: from scientific text review to code development, from email and newsletter service management to server maintenance.
A credible digital presence for the journal, with high editorial standards and a solid technical foundation for a specialist international audience. The website, email services, and newsletter run stably and independently.
